As a subscriber/artist of CamelbackGallery.com, Deb recently entered her painting "Santa" into the annual "free to enter" competition. He artwork was selected by Jury as the Best in Show!

This was a commissioned portrait of a man who has been a professional Santa for over 20 years. The costume was so beautiful, custom made—and so much fun to paint! We did the photo shoot in August, on a 90+ degree day. Luckily he was a real pro, posing beautifully, and I was able to get what I needed quickly so we could get him back inside into the air conditioning.
