Congratulations to Junyi Liu!

“I’ve been observing people’s way of living in the city. I have great sympathy for the insecurity of people nowadays. They kept seeking comforts from different sources, with the hope of achieving inner peace. However, they are still lonely. These paintings are my attempts to reveal their vulnerability. Everyone appears in my work is someone I know from real life. I asked he or she to share personal stories with me, and I tried to capture moments that express those subtle emotions, sometimes in an uncommon set up.” Junyi
