Fusion Art Announces the Winners of the 5th Annual Into the Wild Art Exhibition

The exhibition is now available for viewing on the Fusion Art website and features awards in three categories: Traditional Art, Digital Art & Photography and 3-Dimensional Art.

For this exhibition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, were invited to submit their best art and photography depicting wildlife. All artists, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their work in any media.

The Into the Wild Best in Show winners are Lisa Perrin-Kosmo for her water-based oil on canvas, “IN THE LIGHT”, David G. Lee for his digital art, “BLACK WOLF NOT IN THE MOOD TO PLAY” and Chen Xiaowan for his sculpture, “HARE”. As the Best in Show winners, Lisa, David and Chen are invited to participate in Fusion Art’s Group Show in Santa Fe, NM in 2023.

Other award winners include Second Place winners Susan Wehrman, Lyn Darlington and Douglas Aja. Third Place awards were given to Anita Plaks, Maureen Ravnik and Fang Xin. Fourth Place awards were given to L. Whitney Bond, Bauhinia Chen and Patti Lomont. Fifth Place awards were given to Telagio Baptista, Jyl Blackwell and Kraken Bones Metal Art.

In addition, nine artistic excellence awards and nine honorable mention awards were given due to the exceptional quality of the art received for this exhibition. The remaining finalists in the exhibition all exemplified uniquely creative talents and we are honored to showcase their artwork on the Fusion Art website.

The international competition received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Belgium and Denmark. Overall, the gallery judged 232 entries and accepted 93 artworks into the exhibition, which will be featured on the website for 3 months starting on March 15, 2023.

Founded by Award winning artist, Chris and Valerie Hoffman, Fusion Art was envisioned and formed out of a passion for art and the artists who create it. The website promotes and connects new, emerging and established artists with collectors and art enthusiasts, while offering the opportunity to participate in art competitions, exhibitions and experiences.

Each month and quarter Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed solo and group art competitions and exhibitions. Both winners and finalists are provided with worldwide exposure, by having their work promoted through Fusion Art’s website, in hundreds of press release announcements, email marketing, online event calendars, art news websites and through the gallery’s social media outlets. The gallery’s objective is to promote the artists, worldwide, to art professionals, gallerists, collectors and buyers.
