Human Rights Arts And Film Festival, Melbourne

Hello readers,

I am one of the co-curators for the Human Rights Arts and Films Festival that is held annually in Melbourne Australia. I wanted to let this discussion board know that the call one for submissions for the adjoining exhibition to the festival are now open. All emerging and established artists are invited to submit their work for the 2011 Melbourne exhibition Create the Example.

Create the Example will be a multimedia exhibition. Every medium will be considered. The focus is on artists contributing works that express positively the ideals, efforts and solutions for human rights and social justice concerns. We encourage artists to think beyond the overt issues and moveaway from dark objectification of human rights.
