The picture is from the 2009 commission “In situ” at a junior high school in Norway. The techniques being used is wall drawing with permanent marker and a burn-pen, which is a traditional Nordic craft. Key words for the commission are support, roots and challenge. The title “In situ” means “in the place” in Latin. It is used in many different contexts, e.g. art, archeology, architecture, medicine, law and space sciences.
