According to Wikepedia, the definition of Photography is the science, art, application and practice of creating durable images by recording light or other electromagnetic radiation, either electronically by means of an image sensor or chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film.

A photograph captures a moment in time. Show us your favorite moments.

For this competition artists were encouraged to share their artistic vision and interpretation of the world around them. The artwork varied from realism to surrealism to abstraction. All artists over the age of 18, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their best inspired photography and digital media.

Each of our monthly themed exhibitions, awards for First, Second and Third Place. The First Place winner for the A Moment In Time show is Kristopher Schoenleber for his photograph, Ghost Face Killer. As the First Place winner, Kristopher will also be our Featured Artist for the month of August.

Taking Second Place is Youssef Riegel for his photograph, Flashback. And, Third Place goes to Gaylord Mink for his photograph, Jumper.

Three honorable mention awards were given as well. Honorable Mention awards go to Forrest Aderholt for his image transfer Remembrance of a Landscape, Nancy Breakstone and Michael Duke, for his photograph Taking A Break.
