A tradition is a long-established custom or belief that has been passed on from generation to generation. Fusion Art wants to see how you celebrate. Share with us what makes holidays and traditions special and unique to your family and friends.

All holidays are acceptable for this competition. Whether it’s dressing up for Halloween, trimming the Christmas tree or having your picture taken with Santa, ice skating on a frozen pond, lighting the menorah for Hanukkah, ringing in the the New Year in Time’s Square, hunting for Easter eggs, sailing on Cape Cod for 4th of July, a romantic dinner to two for Valentine’s Day, drinking green beer on St. Patrick’s Day, honoring those who served on Veterans Day. If it is a holiday or a tradition for a holiday – it qualifies for this competition.

A special one-month group online exhibition will be featured on the Fusion Art website from December 15, 2018 through January 15, 2019.

The Best in Show winners receive an invitation to Fusion Art’s Annual Group Show in Palm Springs in February 2019. The top five winners in each category will be invited to join Fusion Art’s gallery on Artsy.net. Artsy is the largest online database of contemporary art, receives an average of 2.5 million monthly visitors, and is the “go to” place for collectors to find and buy art online.

The deadline to apply is December 5, 2018 and the gallery is offering reduced entry fees for this special competition.

Each month and quarter Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed solo and group art competitions and exhibitions. Both winners and finalists are provided with worldwide exposure, by having their work promoted through Fusion Art’s website, in hundreds of press release announcements, email marketing, online event calendars, art news websites and through the gallery’s social media outlets. The gallery’s objective is to promote the artists, worldwide, to art professionals, gallerists, collectors and buyers.

Founded by award winning artist, Chris Hoffman, Fusion Art was envisioned and formed out of a passion for art and the artists who create it. The website promotes and connects new, emerging and established artists with collectors and art enthusiasts, while offering the opportunity to participate in art competitions and experiences.

Artists who are interested in submitting their artwork for consideration should visit Fusion Art’s website for full competition guidelines https://fusionartps.com/holidays-traditions-art-competition-december-2018/.
