“I have Osteogenesis Imperfecta, better known as Brittle Bone Disease. I get around in an electric wheelchair. I’m 2 feet, 7 inches tall. And by age 10, I had broken 500+ bones. But there was no way my parents and I were going to let my disease dictate my happiness. My parents influenced me the most. They made me want to make something of myself, and I was going to be happy doing it—end of story.” Katherine
