Linda McCord is an international award-winning artist based in Washington, USA. Her work has been described as abstract realism and she works in most of the two-dimensional mediums.

Linda believes art is an expression of an inner need to escape and find a place where she can go on a creative journey while exploring repetition of shapes and contrasts of various kinds. She focuses on light and shadow, composition, and value change.

Linda prefers to build many transparent layers when painting rather than direct application. She adapted a method of building layers to the paint and using resist processes she learned as a print-maker.

Linda has been featured and won awards in both online and bricks and mortar art exhibitions including numerous top awards on the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery and Fusion Art.

Linda won Best in Show/Overall Top Winning Artist in the 12th Annual “All Women” Online Art Exhibition on the Light Space & Time Online Art gallery website in January 2023. Linda also won an Artist Spotlight Solo Art Exhibition on the Fusion Art main website in January 2022.

She is a Fusion Art Featured Artist Member.
