As a culmination of her recent obsession with all things woodgrain, Dell Stewart has created a large collection of painted cut-outs at the new Alice Euphemia store on Gertrude Street.
This recent work relates directly to her time growing up in the lush forests of far north Queensland, she’s got the woods in her bones. A complete rainbow of birds, tropical fruit, wood fires and an entire alphabet made from sticks allow her to speak directly to us with the secret language of trees.
