RFK has been in demand as an artist since before he graduated from New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology. After a group exhibition at Location One Gallery New York, RFK was chosen to work for Ralph Lauren in textile and design.

RFK’s artwork is realised through multiple media that include found object, fibre, installation and performance. He has recently finished a floral sculpture for New York’s fashion label Coventry by Matthew Terry. Coventry commissioned a 8 ft tall floral sculpture as a bonfire for inspiration, which became a 10ft in diameter and 11ft tall over-grown Salem Which Trial bundle. The work composed of Cedar, White Oak,Cherry, Magnolia, Whispy Willows, Moss, Rock and Mushrooms, was finished with 80ft vines braided and multiple other vines wrapped around the center.

RFK is an artist in demand whose work has been written and reviewed in the New York Times, Village Voice, Women’s Wear Daily to name a few. This residency and subsequent exhibition is a fabulous opportunity to view the work of this hot young New York artist!
