INTRUDE GALLERY
Forty handkercheifs sway in an installation exploring Melbourne's criminal face. Drawn in ink and pencil, these disperatre faces were taken from identikit portraits found the crimestoppers pages of daily newspapers. This work references an artform called 'pano art' found American prisons whereby prisoners would swap or mail home sketches drawn on hankies.
