The works, by local and international artists, use mobile phones and a purpose-built downloadable app to transform real-world locations into interactive installations.

Locations include (outside) The Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, National Gallery of Victoria, Federation Square, Melbourne Museum, Fitzroy Gardens, and many more.

20 groups of artists are participating in the event, including MoMA ‘art invaders’ Manifest.AR.
