Impossible Plays

Impossible Plays interviewed a group of strangers about what they catch themselves playing out in their imaginations. It looks at the function of imagination and role play in the lives of individuals, and the social resonance of these plays. With a team of sensitive performers the project has developed a playful world textured by these fantasies.

Art Exhibition previously on at 2012 Next Wave Festival in Melbourne precinct, Victoria, Australia.
From Saturday 19 May 2012 to Saturday 26 May 2012

Built on quixotic fragments of action, Impossible Plays weaves our fantasies into the fabric of a brave new world.

Nay writes her Booker Prize speech in her head while falling asleep. I find myself writing a eulogy for my mother (where did that come from?). “Who do we think we are?” asks this delightfully haunted new work Impossible Plays.
