Start is a self-generated project in which BLINDSIDE will be the final testing site for the hypothesis that the act of commencement could constitute an art practice.

Start asks a very fundamental question: How do artists decide what to make? And moreover, how are ideas generated, and can the start-impulse be located as a moment, or action?

Boe-Lin Bastian, CJ Conway, Jessie Bullivant, Craig Burgess, Darren Munce, Makiko Yamamoto. Curated by Julia Powles.
