The Max Bell Gallery (Gallery X series) – Bishop and Reis

An installation that subverts national narratives and identity in a re-interpretation of one of Geelong Gallery's iconic paintings, A bush burial (1890) by Frederick McCubbin. The installation replicates the space it sits in and simulataneously depicts viewers in a dynamic environment, inviting them to question their own place in the national story.

Art Exhibition previously on at Geelong Gallery in Geelong precinct, Victoria, Australia.
From Saturday 27 October 2012 to Sunday 02 December 2012
