Klee taught at the Bauhaus alongside Kandinsky in the 1920s, writing many influential texts on art theory and developing his own uniquely delicate imagery of organic and geometric forms. Building on new research, Tate Modern will chart the artist’s work alongside the events of his life and times. This will be the UK’s first major show of Klee’s work for over a decade, bringing together complex and colourful drawings, watercolours and paintings from throughout his career and from collections around the world.
