These ten artists present landscape, figurative and abstract themes, linked by a common focus on the vibrant and dynamic transposition of colour, form and line on canvas, board and paper. The artists draw on the modernist traditions of fauvism, abstract expressionism and brut art as well as the visual styles of the contemporary electronic age.

This is the fifth exhibition by the CoCo group. Art critics have described previous exhibitions as ‘a riot of colour, a razzle dazzle…a class act’.

In this new body of work, the CoCo group without compromise intermingles the asserted focus on colour with intrigue, sometimes deviously, sometimes aggressively, abstracting patterns of the observed to investigate new expressions and forms.
