Darren Jorgensen (University of Western Australia, Perth) traces a history of esoteric art in Australia. He considers how Norman Lindsay, Danie Mellor, and others mobilise ritual images and synthesise different ritual traditions—Christian, Indigenous, Masonic, pagan, and sex magic.
