Connexion Points: sites of exchange/types of exchange

This biennial Prize showcases 50 sculptures and installations from around the nation that responds to the theme, Connexion Points: sites of exchange/types of exchange. This theme considers our relationships with each other and our surrounds, and how these interactions are affected by our built, technological and natural environments

The selection panel Dominik Mersch (Director, Dominik Mersch Gallery), Anne Loxley (C3West Curator, MCA) and Robyn Backen (artist) will decide the recipient of the $20,000 Major Award (sponsored by Willoughby City Council & Shead Property), the $3,000 Emerging Artist Award (sponsored by Mr Vitamins) and the $1,000 People’s Choice Award (sponsored by Mezze Café).

The opening event on Saturday, August 31 at 3pm at Incinerator Art Space will be opened by the Mayor, Councillor Pat Reilly, with guest speaker, Robyn Backen (artist). There will be live art performance and music.
