V&A/RCA History of Design is a world leading postgraduate programme (MA/MPhil/PhD), run jointly by the Victoria and Albert Museumand the Royal College of Art. The MA course incorporates three specialisms: Renaissance and Early Modern, Modern and Contemporary, and Asian, Early Modern to Contemporary. The V&A wishes to appoint a part time tutor with an expertise in the period c. 1750 to contemporary (Modern and Contemporary) to contribute to the teaching of the MA course.

The person appointed will be responsible for teaching in their specialist area, as well as contributing to course planning and organisation across the programme, in collaboration with V&A and RCA colleagues. The post holder will have a proven track record in research, experience in postgraduate teaching and a PhD in a relevant discipline.
