Georgiana was a portrait artist, and also designed the house herself. Three thousand bricks were sent down the bay from Williamstown to Arthur’s Seat on the ‘Jemima’, a small fishing boat. The house is small but well thought out and planned, and the family lived there and farmed the property for a number of years before settling in Melbourne.
