Salary: negotiable—including compulsory 9.25% superannuation

The CACSA is nationally and internationally recognized as a leading contemporary visual art presenter and publisher in Australia, presenting an annual program of commissioned exhibitions, publications and associated public events through national and international partnerships with the aim to promote and develop contemporary visual art practice, debate and critical analysis of national and regional cultural development. This aim is strategically complemented by the publication of CONTEMPORARY VISUAL ART+CULTURE Broadsheet magazine, published quarterly by the CACSA and distributed throughout the Australasian and Southeast Asian regions, and artist monographs and anthologies.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Administrator contributes to the mission and goals of the CACSA by ensuring the effective management of the CACSA’s finances, administration and facilities, by leading the day-to-day management of the organization, assisting in the preparation of financial reports and budgets, and advising the Executive Director in matters of administrative policy, procedure, and management. The successful applicant will have appropriate and extensive experience in these specialised areas and similar knowledge of the national sector of contemporary visual art organisations.
