In an exciting time for Object: Australian Design Centre, we’re looking for someone to join our nimble and creative team, to be responsible for the admin hub of the organisation. As a friendly face at reception you will meet our guests and assist in hosting, scheduling and catering of meetings, events and gallery activities. Your energetic assistance, chameleon tendencies and willingness to help others will be vital in supporting other arms of activities such as promoting our programs through digital marketing platforms or preparing materials for education workshops.

• At least 2 years experience in administration or office/studio management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and follow through
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, including events
• Exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills
• An interest in the creative industries
• Ability to work independently, problem-solve, perform under pressure
• Be a team player, sometimes taking direction and other times leading discussion
• Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office), strong abilities in database management
