Queensland’s SWELL Sculpture Festival invites artists to submit entries to exhibit in the 12th annual exhibition set between two iconic headlands along Currumbin Beach in September on the Gold Coast with the $15,000 Swell Sculpture Award

SWELL Sculpture Festival

With the exhibition taking place 12 – 21 September 2014 and exhibiting up to 55 sculptures, SWELL Sculpture Festival supports full freedom of expression for all forms of sculpture and encourage submissions with entry open to all artists nationally and internationally, working in any medium.

The SWELL Sculpture Award of $15,000 continues in 2014 with additional awards including the highly popular $3,000 People’s and $3,000 Kids’ Choice Awards, $2,000 Max Fabre Foundation Environmental Awareness Award and $1,500 Jennie Neumann OAM Emerging Artist Award.

Swell Sculpture Festival provides artists with the opportunity to exhibit in a highly regarded exhibition set within a visually stimulating, expansive coastal landscape. The free to the public exhibition attracts visitation of around 215,000 over 10 days.

To submit an entry, artists can simply apply online at link or download the entry form and return to Swell Sculpture Festival to PO Box 457 Currumbin Qld 4223 Australia by no later than Friday 7th March, 2014.
