Auerbach takes a highly innovative approach to mechanical processes and colour. Her ICA show features newly created sculptures and photographs which take as their starting point the scientific principles of symmetry and reflection as a means to hint at an alternate, mirror universe.

Auerbach’s recent solo exhibitions include Standard, Oslo (2013), Wiels Centre of Contemporary Art, Brussels; Malmö Konsthall, Malmö; and Bergen Kunsthall, Bergen (2011 – 2012). Recent group exhibitions include Ecstatic Alphabets/Heaps of Language, 2012, Museum of Modern Art, New York; The Painting Factory, Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; Lifelike, Walker Art Center, Minneapolis
