The second talk in this series features Eyebeam alumni Heather Dewey-Hagborg and Chris Woebken, discussing speculative futures. The talk will explore surveillance culture and art as a form of social critique. Inquiry areas will include the public revelations of Snowden, the current electronic surveillance state, $1000 genome sequencing, DIYbio, genetic privacy, collectively envisioning futures and debating the value of speculative practice.
