In 2005 Mobile Journeys presented a series of workshops, master classes and professional forums and commissioned 14 Australian artists to create new works for mobile devices. Commissioned works included games, video, social networks and interactive installations.
The works were first presented by Mobile Journeys as part of D>Art.05 Exhibition at Sydney Opera House from August 10 to September 4 2005. This exhibition was proudly supported by Samsung Mobile. Our thanks also to HWW, Aura Digital, Tigerspike and FBi 94.5 FM.
Mobile Journeys is a national consortium of partners dLux media arts, ANAT, AIMIA and is supported by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body.
