Forming in late 2014 over a mutual interest in photography, contemporary art and travel the group saw an opportunity to create a collective framework of photographic perspectives when they had all travelled to Japan within a few months of each other. The group aims not only to promote a united front of emerging photomedia talent but also to produce a more immersive gallery experience by uniting five individual lenses over one subject as a myriad of unique view points.

ARTIST COLLECTIVE has been invited by MOP Projects to present the exhibition Gaijin as part of the gallery’s program to highlight emerging talent from Sydney’s art institutions. Gaijin is a MOP Projects exhibition hosted by Galerie pompom.
