Inspired by the pedagogy of early years pioneer Friedrich Froebel and his influence on the Bauhaus movement, our play, our party, our work! celebrates the first Changing Play residency at the Portman Early Childhood Centre with The Invisible Spaces of Parenthood artists, Andrea Francke and Kim Dhillon.

Through their residency Andrea and Kim explored the ‘gifts’ of Friedrich Frobel with children, parents and staff from the centre as a starting point for their research into creating non-gendered and open-ended resources for families.

Join us to play, as we expand the shapes throughout the park.

Changing Play is our three year project exploring aspects of play through long-term engagement with children aged 0-5 and their families in Westminster.
