Post Cards from the Ring Road: Roseanne Bartley

Post Cards from the Ring Road is an exhibition inspired by a Palaeo fantasy re-imagining of the moment prior to the first making of jewellery. The artist has been wandering, forming chance encounters between her shadow with found objects as adornments along sections of the Metropolitan Ring Road shared trail.

Art Benefit previously on at Mailbox Art Space in Melbourne precinct, Victoria, Australia.
From Tuesday 01 September 2015 to Saturday 26 September 2015

The process plays with the impulse to adorn by forming fleeting associations between subject, object and environment resulting in jewellery ‘experiences’, rather than finished or formal accessories.
For her exhibition at Mailbox Art Space, Roseanne will offer hosted or self-directed Shadow Casting walks around Melbourne CBD and be presenting documentation of her Shadow Wear process alongside participants.

This exhibition will occur as part of the Radiant Pavilion and Craft Cubed Festivals.

Please note there will not be an opening for this exhibition.
Please join the artist on a walk departing from Mailbox at 10:30am between 3-6th September subject to weather.
No bookings are required, participants must supply their own smart phone or digital camera.
