In her video works, Trenerry’s characters are furtive, fugitive and trapped in hostile environments where they are subjected to recurrent physical manifestations of their anxieties.
Brie Trenerry is a Melbourne based artist primarily working with video and digital media. She has held solo exhibitions in Melbourne and has recently exhibited video works in curated exhibitions in Australia and internationally. Currently, she is lecturing at Victoria University and teaches video production at RMIT and the VCA. She completed a Masters of Fine Art at RMIT in 2001.
