Trained in Fine Art and Multimedia, Vu’s work focuses on the relationship between art and technology. Using 3D computer graphic technology, she has experimented with different methods of generating synthetic images, resulting in large scale 3D printed forms and laser-cut structures, hung from the ceiling and strewn along the floor. These sculptures fluctuate between extremes – the natural and the mechanic, the humorous and the elegant – whilst the technology allows for intricate details and textures.

Over the past ten years Dr. Vu has undertaken research and development of projects that investigate applications and influences of different reproduction technologies in contemporary art practices. This show is the fruits of Vu’s imagination, and experimentation, and a space for respite, reverie, and replenishment.
