His steel and iron wire is sinewy and liquid, just as alive as the animals and people it creates. The exhibition brings many of Lekkong’s narrative sculptures together to explore the world he creates with them – one with echoes of both the old and the new. The body of work asks us what it is we truly see – the parts or the whole? What is a storied and ancient religion such as Hinduism if not its own long history, and the millions of people who played a part in it?

Metamorphosis will be open May 20th, 2016 through June 9th, 2016. There will be an opening reception on the evening of May 26th from 6PM – 8PM. Entrance is free.
