Directed by Václav Vorlíček and starring the delightful Libuše Šafránková as a surprisingly modern and pro-active Cinderella, this timelessly charming and humorous film has been digitally restored by the National Film Archive in Prague to its original, highly colourful glory.

The Czech and Slovak Film Festival of Australia is delighted to be presenting Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella as a special “Christmas in July” event, inclusive of the film and some fun Christmassy surprises for young and old alike, presented in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Australia.

Tickets are free to anyone who subscribes, or renews their subscription, to CaSFFAN, the Czech and Slovak Film Festival’s subscription program.
