Taking its title from the pivotal statement in Frantz Fanon’s influential study of the psychology of racism, Black Skin, White Masks, we present a dynamic afternoon of discussion and events exploring key themes raised by the exhibition, Made You Look: Dandyism & Black Masculinity.

Curator and writer, Ekow Eshun will give a special tour of the exhibition and chair two panels looking at Black Style & Identity with Campbell Addy, Harris Elliott, and Adama Jalloh and Black Masculinity with Matthew Ryder QC and Othello De’Souza-Hartley.

We are also presenting a rare screening of Isaac Julien’s Looking for Langston and exhibiting artist Hassan Hajjaj is setting up a bespoke portrait studio in the evening. Bar and tunes too.
