[MARS] will proudly host a lavish exhibition featuring hundreds of original art work from all of the bestselling titles of Graeme Base. The original art from books including the Eleventh hour, Waterhole, Uno’s garden, Jungle Drums, The Sign of the Seahorse and Truck Dogs will all be included.
‘This is an incredible exhibition spanning 25 years of Graeme’s celebrated artwork, it promises to delight everyone from the youngest reader to every Grandma who has ever sat and read aloud one of Graeme’s books’ says Andy Dinan, director of [MARS] Melbourne Art Rooms who has curated this show to celebrate the launch of Graeme’s art book.
Follow the process that Graeme goes through creating his amazing artwork, you will be able to purchase, framed working drawings, elaborate framed watercolours and oils. Additionally Graeme’s new book, the art of Graeme Base which explores this remarkable artist’s life and work will be available for sale to correspond with the exhibition.
