Visual passions, with a partially different layout. Alongside the extensive corpus of works by Marino Marini (1901-80), a selection of works by artists such as Giacomo Manzù, Henry Moore, Pablo Picasso, Auguste Rodin and others, as well as Etruscan art and Italian sculptures Fifteenth century. The exhibition aims to contextualize Marini’s work in a wider historical-artistic landscape and thus establish a closer and more innovative dialogue between his work and the sculptural tradition the artist refers to. Marino Marini. Visual passions will offer an unpublished, and provocatively, reinterpretation of the themes faced by the Pistoia sculptor that traverses scaffolding chronicles and sculptures.
