Egon Schiele

See rarely-exhibited drawings by Egon Schiele in an exhibition marking the centenary year of his death

Egon Schiele (1890–1918) is internationally known for depicting the human figure in a heightened state of emotional tension. A pupil of Gustav Klimt, Schiele developed a distinctive style which still fascinates and affects audiences. His ability to capture intensity in a daring and explicit way acted as a precursor of many expressionist tendencies that followed in the later 20th century.

Art Exhibition previously on at Tate Liverpool in Merseyside, United Kingdom.
From Thursday 24 May 2018 to Sunday 23 September 2018
