Weaving the threads of personal, societal, political, and cultural encounter, eight artists narrate their freedom to direct their experience of the artist beyond the boundaries of an Outsider.
The exhibition situates these 8 as citizens among citizens, artists among artists seeking to reject stereotypes of the genius artist, the eccentric or mad artist.
Via this exhibition, these 8 contemporary Artists are contributing essential dialogue and knowledge about personal and community issues as part of a participatory action research project titled Diagnosed Artist.
