Seeking artists for exhibition opportunities!

'In Exile Projects' - pilot program

Art Announcement from Australia. Published by anonymous on Monday 03 October 2016.

Chukcha In Exile invites artists, designers and makers to submit for participation as part of "In Exile Projects."

In Exile Projects promotes artists through short-term (minimum of 2 weeks) site occupancies in curated exhibitions. The sites are temporarily unused for their intended purpose and are activated through showcase of artworks curated, coordinated and installed by Chukcha In Exile.
This is an on-going project, which will require a supply of work by any artist on short notice and in good condition.

Works can be anything from a full-scale installation to painting, photography, lighting, video and sculpture as well as potential for some performance work.

Does your work meet the criteria?

‘In Exile Projects’ aims to explore themes around identity, language, migration, loss, cultural difference and the environment.

Works that
_ are thoroughly thought out;
_ are engaging and invite curiosity;
_ are visually compelling;
_ are presented well and in a finished state;
_ respond wholly or in part to the themes outlined above;
