Designing Women, now on display at NGV International, celebrates the powerful force of female designers. Spanning forty years, the exhibition showcases some of the most innovative international and local talent in design with sixty diverse works from fifty female designers.

Highlights include Lee Darroch’s 25-pelt possum skin cloak, telling the story of her compelling family history and the instantly recognisable Horse Lamp by Swedish design studio Front Design. Also on display is Bloom, a swelling, neon pink installation made up of coils, rings, spirals and branches designed by Alisa Andrasek in collaboration with Jose Sanchez.
