Fusion Art Announces the Winners of the 2nd Seasons Art Exhibition image

Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of the 2nd Seasons International Art Exhibition. The exhibition is now available for viewing on the Fusion Art website and features awards in two categories: Traditional Art and Digital Art & Photography.

For this 10th quarterly art competition, both 2D and 3D artists were invited to submit their best art and photography depicting the four seasons. The “Seasons” theme encompassed the four distinct times of the year – Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter – along with any scenes, events, or activities associated with those four seasons. All artists, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their work in any media.

The Seasons Best in Show winners are Brian LaSaga for his acrylic on wood panel, “Beach and Pigtails" and Aleksandrs for his digital and mixed media, “Seasons on the Globe”. As the Best in Show winners, both Brian and Aleksandrs, are invited to participate in Fusion Art’s 4th Annual Group Show in Palm Springs in 2020.

Other award winners include Second Place winners, Blake Whitaker for his acrylic on canvas, “Fall in the Dolomites” and Shelley Benjamin for her digital art, “Stand of Trees”. Third Place awards were given to Elizabeth Burin for her watercolor, “Magnolias on Parade” and Y. Hope Osborn for her photograph, “Christmas Glow”. Fourth Place awards were given to Tom Smith for his oil on canvas, "Winter Walk and John McCluskey for his digital art, “Frozen Berries”. Fifth Place awards were given to Eldon Case for his oil on canvas, “Winter’s Light” and Barbara Mierau-Klein, “Spring has Sprung”.

Rounding out the awards for the exhibition are eight Honorable Mention winners. Honorable Mention awards in the Traditional Art category were given to Kay K Worz for her transparent watercolor, “Seasonal Greetings”, Ann Nall for her acrylic on canvas, “Watermelon”, Donna L. Byers for her oil on canvas, “Air Force” and Hanna Supetran for her oil on canvas, “Summer’s Kiss”.

Honorable Mention awards in the Photography & Digital category were given to Adrienne Kelley for her photograph, “Fall Morning Mist 3”, Rosemary Miklitsch for her photograph, “Wonder of Niagara 2”, Peter Connolly for his digital photograph, “Blooming Jacarandas in Spring” and Martha Nance for her photograph, “Still Life with the First Snow”.

The remaining finalists in the exhibition all exemplified uniquely creative talents and we are honored to showcase their artwork on the Fusion Art website.

The international competition received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the S, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Austria, India, Latvia, the Netherlands, Philippines, and Costa Rica. The exhibition will be featured on the Fusion Art website for the three months.

Founded by Award winning artist, Chris and Valerie Hoffman, Fusion Art was envisioned and formed out of a passion for art and the artists who create it. The website promotes and connects new, emerging and established artists with collectors and art enthusiasts, while offering the opportunity to participate in art competitions, exhibitions and experiences.

Each month and quarter Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed solo and group art competitions and exhibitions.
