Melbourne, Australia

According to the Save Keith Haring Mural facebook group:

One of the few untouched Keith Haring murals in the world is under threat. Painted in 1984 and located on the wall of Collingwood Technical College in Johnston Street, Victoria, Australia, this important piece has been largely neglected and is quickly deteriorating. If something is not done soon it will disappear. Representatives from the National Gallery of Victoria, the University of Melbourne and the City of Yarra have organised a public meeting in an attempt to rescue this piece of important public art. The Forum will take place at the Neighbourhood Justice Centre, 241 Wellington st, Collingwood, Thursday April 29th at 6pm. Keith Haring was an artist and social activist with a positive message whose work appeared not only in galleries but on the streets and subways of New York, record covers and the interior for the legendary paradise garage club. Please join this group to show your support for the mural, whether you are from Melbourne or not. It is one of the few Keith Haring Murals left in the world and should be enjoyed by everyone for years to come.

A good time for such a group to gain exposure with Melbourne City Council accidentally painting over a Banksy stencil this week.
