MGA temporarily closed from 9 July image

We want to let you know that MGA will be closing our galleries from tomorrow, 9 July 2020, until further notice in line with the Victorian Government's return to COVID-19 Stage 3 restrictions.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our community and we recognise the importance of arts and culture to society. In a time where social distancing is the new normal, we know how vital it is to keep connected to each other.

You can keep in touch through our Instagram and Facebook, and visit the gallery on a virtual tour from home. Our online store is full of books and activities to keep you entertained, or perhaps treat yourself with a gift.

We’ll continue to keep you up-to-date with what is happening behind the scenes which will feature the STAGES: photography through the pandemic commission, and the release of new digital content starting with a video interview with Ponch Hawkes from the current exhibition Portrait of Monash: the ties that bind.

Our team will continue to work remotely so please continue to reach out to us via email.

We wish you and your family good health and that we come together to support each other in these challenging times.
