Google Alerts is an really useful service that should be part of every business's marketing plan. Google Alerts keep you informed of any online media coverage you're getting.

To set them up, all you need to do is type in a key word (like your business name), and specify which email address you want the notifications sent to.

Google don’t monitor every page on the web, so don’t expect 100% coverage.

However, the alerts are so easy to set up that there’s no reason not to.

You’ll receive regular announcements telling you about blog posts, news stories, or discussion board comments that you otherwise might not have noticed.
