PrePurchase this animation to help the artists finish making it!

Art Press Release from Australia. Published by Rebecca Gabrielle Cannon on Tuesday 29 March 2011.

In yet another fantastic example of how effective CrowdFunding can be, Artists Molly Crabapple, Kim Boekbinder, and Jim Batt are using KickStarter to raise the funds they need to complete their new animation. The team met on the internet in 2010 and have since spent a year planning, drawing, cutting and colouring their next animation.

Within only a week they’ve already raised more than the minimum funds they need to complete production. Keep in mind it’s still worth donating, as they’ve only specified the bare minimum they need to cover costs, and it would of course be best as artists to also have a wage for the hours they spend on the production themselves.

You can help by making a donation which may in turn provide you with some of their original artworks. A donation of as little as $10 will give you a digital copy of the finished animation.

Watch their beautiful trailer (above) to learn more about what they have in store.
