As we strive toward realising our 2015 Vision we are making important changes to the organisation. One key change is the decision to suspend our current retail operation, Collect. This is certainly not a decision to stop retail activity; in fact it will enable us to deliver bigger and better potential retail ventures in the future.

We will continue to nurture and support Australian designers and practitioners through our online store, and will begin to profile designers and other retailers across our digital platforms. We’re also developing a new series of pop-up retail concepts to re-invigorate our Bourke Street window front – so watch this space!

The current Collect store – as we know it – will close on Saturday 9 June, 2012.

To prepare for this change we will be reducing our stock with a GIANT sale between 15 May and 9 June 2012. This is a great opportunity to stock up on your favourite designers and help support Australia’s design community. Join us in store to receive discounts up to 40% off on a range of our products.

Get in quick, and don’t miss out on this one-time-only sale!

The decision to suspend Collect, as we know it, is enabling us to experiment with new models that will be more effective for designers as well as for collectors. This change is providing us with the opportunity to re-imagine and plan what the retail environment in 2015 will look like in a new and permanent home for Object.
