Learn how to make mosaics in a workshop this weekend
Art Press Release from Australia. Published by Rebecca Gabrielle Cannon on Thursday 12 March 2009.

Mosaic artist Pamela Irving, who recently returned from St Peterburg, Russia where she delivered an artist commission for a major international mosaic exhibition, will be hosting a workshop this weekend in which creative types can learn how to make mosaics.
Entitled ‘Birds of a Feather’, workshop participants will be able to create their own mosaic tile illustrating a picture of a bird. The tiles will then be permanently installed on the exterior wall of Pamela Irving’s Studio/Gallery in Melbourne, Australia.
The workshop is open to any number of participants of any age. Each tile is between 30 – 60cm square. The cost of the workshop is $10 per tile, with proceeds going towards the Mosaic Association of Australia and New Zealand.
A fun, affordable way to learn a new artistic skill.
