Nextmedia acquires Art Almanac

nextmedia announced the acquisition of Art Almanac, a guide to Australian galleries. The acquisition of Art Almanac and related website and newsletter service is a complement to nextmedia’s Artist Profile magazine.

Art Almanac, first published over 35 years ago as a university publication has grown into a widely read art publications. Produced monthly, the magazine has up to date information on galleries, exhibitions, artists, prizes and art services.

Art Almanac will continue to be published monthly and will relaunch the website and offer an iPhone app early next year. Owen Craven has been appointed Editor and will be joined by the experienced Art Almanac team, Laraine Deer, Penny McCulloch, Kirsty Mulholland, Paul Saint, Melissa Pesa and Anna Madeleine, ensuring a smooth transition.
